CP Pistons was created to service the needs of those with the desire to build engines of the highest quality and technology. With the use of proprietary tooling, dedicated cutters and unique fixtures, our state-of-the-art equipment produces superior pistons that will not compromise your expectations. Each piston is engineered using sophisticated computer modeling for optimum designs, while our 5-axis machining capability enables us to create any piston for any application.
Cometic MLS (Multi Layer Steel) gaskets are comprised of three layers of Stainless Steel. Cometic uses Stainless Steel for increased strength; its’ ability to rebound, and corrosion resistance. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a fluoroelastomer rubber based material (Viton) designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. The Viton coating is heat resistant to 250C or 482F. The center of the shim layer of the gasket is comprised of an uncoated Stainless Steel layer, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements. The MLS-gasket is ideal for both aluminum heads to cast iron blocks, and aluminum heads to aluminum blocks.
